Privacy Policy

Miza Foods ("miza", "we") runs this shop from Lahore, Pakistan. This page explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. We follow Pakistani law, including the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act 2016, and we are preparing for the Personal Data Protection Bill once it becomes law.
What we collect
We have no customer accounts. We only collect what you type at checkout:
- Your name, mobile number, city, delivery address, nearest landmark and any notes you add.
- Your order: items, sizes, prices, delivery fee, payment method and order status.
- If you pay by bank transfer, the payment screenshot you upload.
- If you join the waitlist for another city, your mobile number and city.
- If you arrived through a link with campaign tags (for example
utm_source), those tags are saved with your order so we know which posts bring orders. They are not linked to any other site.
Why we use it
- To confirm your order on WhatsApp, deliver it, take payment and handle returns or refunds.
- To keep the business records that tax and accounting law require.
- To protect the shop from spam and abuse (see bot checks below).
We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for advertising profiles. We only message you about your order, or about delivery in your city if you joined the waitlist.
Who sees it
- Our team: family members who confirm, pack and send orders.
- Delivery riders or couriers: your name, phone, address and the amount to collect, only for your parcel.
- Cloudflare: hosts this site and stores orders and payment screenshots on its servers. It also runs Turnstile, the bot check on checkout, which looks at your browser and connection to tell people from bots.
- Google Fonts: pages that show Urdu text load the Urdu font from Google, which receives your IP address and browser details when it serves the font. Our English font is hosted on our own site.
- WhatsApp: when you press a WhatsApp button, WhatsApp (Meta) handles that chat under its own privacy policy.
- Government authorities, only if the law requires it.
Cookies and storage
We don't use tracking or advertising cookies, analytics tools or pixels, so there is no cookie banner. Your cart is saved in your own browser's storage so it survives a page refresh; it never leaves your phone until you place an order. Right after checkout, your order number is kept in the browser tab so the thank-you page can show it. The Turnstile bot check may use its own short-lived data to do its job.
How long we keep it

Ask to see, fix or delete your data
You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion. WhatsApp us on +92 314 7627917 or email admin@themizagroup.com with your order number (or the phone number you ordered with) and say what you want. We may ask you to confirm from that same phone number so we don't hand your data to someone else.
We delete what you ask within 30 days, and older backups expire within that time too. The only thing we keep is what tax and accounting law makes us keep (the order record and amount paid); we remove everything else, such as your notes and landmark, and we stop using the rest for anything except those records.
Security
Data travels over HTTPS. Our admin pages are behind sign-in, and payment screenshots are stored in a private bucket that only our team can open. No system is perfectly safe; if your data is ever exposed we will tell you on WhatsApp or by email.
Children
This shop is meant for adults placing household orders. We don't knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
